Album Art: Stuart Semple & Subliminal Girls
This is much more than an album. British artist Stuart Semple has designed a limited edition EP for electro-punk group Subliminal Girls, Self Obsession is an Art Form. Semple's design, a custom screen-printed and hand-finished box, quite literally breaks the mold of album art. And within, beside the ten inch vinyl: a photo-book, silk-screened tee, laser cut acrylic disk, and one-off signed negatives of the band. The artist has only created ten copies of this super-limited work, available November 17 through galleries Anna Kusteria in New York, AUS18 in Milan, The Cat Street Gallery in Hong Kong and worldwide at www.opus-art.com.
