…Yesterday’s harem pants gave way to today’s sprouting bulbous shapes. At Devi Kroell, out-sized trousers punctuated streamlined looks and at Bland, oversize jackets made from tech fabrics channeled an avant-garde energy. On the streets, dramatic shapes, gave many stylistas’ daytime wardrobe an evening flair. We noted that Marc Jacobs’ store window on Bleecker Street reflected some of the same sort of big-time drama.
