The Kabiri pop-up shop has popped. In between the designer shoe department and designer denim on the first floor of Selfridges on Oxford Street, the temporary store will be open from today till Christmas. With wrist wear as the it-accessory this season, the store will focus on bangles and bracelets. In the house are the likes of Allumer, Chamak by Priya Kakkar, Alexis Bittar, Most Common Most Rare, Gerard Yosca, Redline, Yarborough, Iradj Moini, Rajiv Arora, Jennifer Meyer, and Rachel Leigh. With Jonathan Saunders use of vivid colors and strong silhouettes, it may be hard to find accessories to match his daring designs. Perhaps that's why Swarovski teamed up with the British designer to design a line of jewelry three years ago. And this fall, Saunders "develops the exclusive Swarovski pointillage technique in which crystals are embedded into a ceramic-like material."
