Julia Muggenberg’s elegant collection of precious metal jewels and gemstones, Belmacz Beauty, is branching out this spring. Well, sort of. The London-based jeweler will channel her affinity for all things shiny into a new product line called Blitz.

Debuting at Paris Fashion Week with choices such as Glow Gold Leaf Lip Gloss, Blitz Gold Leaf Eye Shadow and Oyster Pearl Powder, it’s no surprise that the line was designed by a jeweler. And the names are as literal as they appear: the lip gloss and eye shadow are enriched with 24-karat gold, while the powder is made from real oyster pearl. Blitz is a complete fusion of jewelry and makeup.

The line adds depth and definition to the eyes and skin, offering a subtle luxuriousness already characteristic of Belmacz’s jewelry. The makeup evokes the decadence of the ’70s—creating a rich, eye-catching sheen—but is understated enough to be worn over the whole body. While the prospect of covering your entire body with a gold cream may have eerie associations, rest assured that this is more Studio 54 than Goldfinger.
