Hot-to-have music producers The Neptunes are not only setting music trends with their saucy sounds for artists from Beenie Man to Britney Spears, the premium trucker’s caps for their own group N.E.R.D are on the most wanted list of edgy urbanites across the States, and trendsetting Europeans with a penchant for hick Americana (a robust audience) are willing to pay big bucks for a N.E.R.D original. Pharrell Williams, one part of the Neptunes, has been sporting the yellow and white combination cap in the many videos in which he appears. Fans in turn are snapping up even generic two-toned caps to imitate the look — just the right top-off to the grungy military charging into style (See JC Report Issue 3).
