The designers behind Nice Collective, Joe Haller and Ian Hannula, continue to rock the music industry with their killer streetwear. Jamming since the mid-’90s techno and dance era, Nice Collective continue their musical association by collaborating with legendary rock stars on concert tees, music videos, and their own signature collections. This summer Nice Collective‘s unique graphic prints turned up on Rolling Stones’ concert tees for their Forty Licks tour in Europe. The t-shirt designs are inventively screened with each city’s name and the Stones’ old album covers. Recently the design team also created the threads for Seal’s latest music video, “Get It Together.” Gavin Rossdale of Bush is a fan, and Rossdale’s wife Gwen Stefani has also discovered the duo, signing them up to consult on her new line, L.A.M.B., set to debut next spring. For their own fall collection, the Nice boys continue to explore an aesthetic inspired by everyday influences such as multimedia and technology. Cut-off messages, graphics, and phone numbers are silk-screened askew on a t-shirt, jacket, or pant leg to form messages if worn together. With their unique finishing techniques, the designers continue to draw their own fans — just like the stars they design for.
