  1. Hi Lisa,

Nice write-up…I write for our local paper, the Aspen Daily News, and work at Burberry in town. What about their men’s show in London…I didn’t hear any mention of it. Were you just covering the women’s?

  2. I was there too, but, unfortunately, since my publications, the Aspen Daily News and the Aspen Sojourner are relatively small, I didn’t get press credentials. Had fun nonetheless, staying at Fashion Week central Empire Hotel at Lincoln Center, and enjoying the high energy, as well as other New York offerings that week, including the US Open, Wicked, and memorials for 9 11 at St. Patrick’s Cathedral and Avery Fisher Hall at Lincoln Center. Very emotional weekend…I’ll hope for more access next time…if you can offer any help, I’d appreciate it! Thanks, Giovanna

  3. Maggie Gyllenhaal is the perfect Muse for this collection. There is always Marlene Dietrich in my thoughts with her… Maggie rocks those pants!! I wonder if she became a customer and then a friend, or if she was a friend (and obvious inspiration) first?

  4. Regarding the “pastoral summer picnic” to get more specific, I saw designers using prints of roses in blues, reds, yellow, etc.

  6. you are missing a lot of artisans.
for instance R.Horn“s Vienna makes leather-ware, also there is a great handmade shoemaker in the city, considered the best in the world by many, etc.

  8. “The most anticipated shows of the season also opted for the purest of hues.” Always love a clean, light palette for spring. In general, I feel reenergized for fashion again. Can’t wait to see how the top stylists and editors translate. blog. likebright. com

  10. My top 2 from the list are Ahalife and Lyst. Ahalife because of it’s intuitive and stunning design, especially the slideshow. Browsing their site really is like using the iPad on my Mac. And Lyst because I can add all my fav designers and go to one place to see what’s up with them.

  13. Just posted a few of my looks on the ‘Stops’ page… it is easy and looks good.. Can’t wait to see my pics showing up! So far it looks like they favor top brands only but who knows.. they may start to feature what looks best, no matter what brand it is, otherwise they run the risk that the page comes across as just another promotion for the big 1%…
