Going by the turn out of top tier editors and buyers at his showing yesterday, Rad Hourani’s rising star status is cementing.

He kept things consistent in his fourth collection only fine tuning and embellishing his severely tailored unisex clothes. Chain links and silver Lurex insets, contrasting sheer and opaque panels were some of the new glam rock details. All the models wore 4inch platforms (the men surprisingly taking as confident a stride as the women), but thankfully it never delved into tricky territory.

Much of the presentation was helped by the precise casting of a multi-racial lineup of models with otherworldly features all towering at around 6’4 (with platforms). It harkened back to the days of Helmut Lang and his use of hardened face mannequins such as Kristen McMenamy & Cordula. This time, though, the lineup is a lot more beautiful.
