Dubuis debuted in Geneva as an independent watchmaker in the ’80s. At the time, his collaboration with Carlos Dias garnered major recognition throughout the watch industry and earned notable awards by the Geneva Watch making Grand Prix.
Dubuis’ watches are now known for incredible craftsmanship and avant-garde features—the Golden Square, for example, carries a calendar with five windows and multiple time-zone indicators. Similarly, wearers of the Triple Time Zone can choose any city for their watch to automatically sync with. The striking piece also features two 12-hour counters with night and day indicators.
All of Roger Dubuis’ creations avoid conformity, not only in their design, but ultimately in their limited manufacturing. Though each piece is comparable to the cost of a car (more so than any other premier watch), Dubuis’ time-telling marvels are truly in a league of their own.
