"Smart clothes. Yes, it’s true: someone somewhere is developing
underwear that can control room temperature, glasses that can help
jog short term memory, and fabric that can track if that pair of
jeans you just bought is by some fabulous designer or simply a fraud.
Researchers from the MIT Media Lab and Levi’s jeans are among the people
who are finding new ways to add smart, sensory, washable and wearable computers
into clothes and accessories On my personal hit list: hoodies with built-in surround
sound for that city stroll, a cell phone embedded in a leather glove
for discreet hand over mouth conversations, or a mood sensor in my
bustier that can gauge that cute somebody’s mojo level. Gives a
whole new significance to the lost glove."
