"This summer, accessories are soft, relaxed, and a bit oversized. Shoes of the moment come from Christian Louboutin, Alaia, and Manolo Blahnik. I particularly have an appetite for Chloé flats and shoes by the Brazilian designer Francesca Giobbi, and Havaianas.
For bags, I’m just in love with Chloé and Brazil’s own Elisa
Atheniense. Daslu’s own label makes a great selection of shoes, bags,
and jewelry. African-bone sandals, ankle-strap pumps, shoes made of
woven leather,
fringed Mexican bags, and oversized pouch bags will make appearances
this season. A lot of jewelry will be adorned with coral
and turquoise stones from the Far East, Indian emeralds and rubies,
African ivories, and gold, silver, and bronze from Latin America. This
overall casual mood refreshingly softens the season’s folkloric
mix-and-match look."
