Over 100 years of experience in designing high quality footwear has only bred perfection in this iconic American brand. The newest addition to the Stacy Adams  “Grade A” collection–the Armstrong–seamlessly incorporates classic styling details from the timeless wing tip oxford with fresh, modern updates like brightly colored shoelaces and comfortable, fully cushioned insoles. Featuring a casual silhouette with a dressy upper portion, and an ultra lightweight outsole, this essential fall shoe is available in a selection six core colors.

A rich tradition of artisan craftsmanship and an unyielding emphasis on using only the finest quality materials is definitive of the Stacy Adams brand; and the Armstrong more than lives up to this proud history. Crafted from your choice of luxe 100% genuine leather or suede, this shoe can take the most fastidious of dressers from the office to an evening out, and anywhere in between.

The Armstrong boasts playful design features such as a textured, vibrantly hued outsole which effortlessly add interest to casual daytime looks. Simply style this modern classic with comfy denim and a button down, and you’ll  see that building a casual yet elegant look is as simple as letting the color saturated sole of your shoe take center stage. Incorporate a bit of the non-traditional into dressier looks by wearing your shoe with colorful laces. It will brighten neutral suiting and make a standard sportcoat or jacket feel a little more unique. The best part? Stacy Adams  includes two shoelace options–designed to coordinate back to each unique shoe color–with purchase of the Armstrong.

There is one comment on The Stacy Adams Armstrong: Style with Sole:

  1. Love the new Dumont shoe from Stacy Adams. I feel it has a real nice crisp look using the light brown color of the sole with the sharp contrast of the black leather and seude details.

  2. The black “Serafino” is my favorite because it looks as stylish and classy as it does comfortable. I would wear these everywhere!

  3. I am really into the “Hawthorne” shoe. It is perfect for winter, yet fashion forward. Love the dark brown suede too!

  4. I really fell for the “Ashby” style. I prefer the bit of a lower rise on my ankle. Plus the color schemes available are outstanding. Personally I’m preferential towards the bright blue and cement combination, would look outstanding for work this winter!

  5. The black Armstrong looks outstanding and I believe it brings a lot comfort and satisfaction. These shoes stand out with class, style, perfection and are worth to be added in every man’s collection.

  6. I am totally feeling the Manford boot by Stacy Adams! My husband is all comfortability. He doesn’t own any, and I mean not 1 pair of dressy type boots or shoes. I figure if I was going to “break him” it might as well be with a pair of COLD BLOODED Stacy Adams!! Yes, yes, yes….

  7. I don’t get to win, Canada is an evil place, but to me the best ones are Armstrong (53391) Black, the Prescott (24858) Black, the Armento (24777) Black, and finally the Madison (00037).

The other ones are to me too flashy, I really don’t wear shoes for people to stare at them.

There are very few instances where I would wear a show outside of those designs from the site’s collection of men’s shoes. But those selected are not over the top, or colourful, things I look for in a shoe, dress or otherwise.

  8. the Brougham design is definitely my favorite. It would look great with my work uniform. Style and comfort all round, looks like the kind of shoe you can wear comfortably for 8 hours on your feet.

  9. I’m really digging the Armstrong (53391), particularly the black. I think it would go equally well in the suit, or with a good pair of jeans.

  10. Like the classic styles for the most part. I am not much of a trend setter so I cannot comment much about the other styles. I guess I am pretty conservative that way and the classics are just that, in a good way.

  11. I enjoy the look and style of the Dayton Classic shoe. It represents sophistication yet simplicity all in one. I love the look of tailored leather and the details of the seams and stitching. It is a timeless look that is wearable through out all the seasons.

  12. I would pick the Dawson in grey for my husband because it’s classic but in a more unexpected color. It would look great styled with dark denim, his faded stripe flannel, heathered black blazer, and olive knit hat. These shoes will look great when he’s performing music on stage as well! (left my email in the “email field” above)

  13. I would love to rock the armstrong cognac brown colorway with red laces with some nice slate blue chinos, a grey cardigan, a chambray navy blue shirt, and a satin red bow tie or maybe throw some powder blue waxed laces in them and swap the blue shirt for a white and light blue striped button down with a navy, powder blue, and pink tie. I really wanna get a pair of these shoes to wear on gameday for football and baseball. I’ll be looking too fresh.

  14. They have an awesome collection. I am definitely feeling the Navy Dalton’s for my husband. There are so many ways to style these. I think an easy weekend look would be perfect with a navy blue sweater, basic blue jean oxford shirt or a blue check oxford with a black leather belt and tan chinos.
