Fabulosity At Claro Rio

The shows have yet to start at Claro Rio, but last night's opening events—including an intimate and hypnotic concert by Caetano Veloso on the Fasano rooftop—hinted at the extravagance that's in store for the next few days.

Curated by Donata Meirelles, Nizan Guanaes, Robert Forrest and Carlos De Souza, Claro Rio is a standard-setting event in Brazilian fashion that highlights the best of the high summer collections, which are soon to be available in stores. Brands set to show include Lenny, Isabela Capeto, Osklen and Carlos Miele, but the real excitement comes from the high wattage attendees who hit up the super luxe events last night.

After the rooftop concert, guests including Valentino Garavani, Giancarlo Giammetti, Natalia Vodianova, Michael Roberts, Georgina Brandolini, Brydie Bell and Francisco Costa streamed down Avenida Vieira Souto. The first stop was at Andrea Dellal's art filled apartment, where guests noshed on moqueca and pineapple caiparinas. Guests then headed to Donata Meirelles and Nizan Guanaes' duplex apartment, where everyone danced poolside until the wee hours. And this is only the beginning.
