What do you do when you're sick of seeing mass-made copies of once unique style staples in your closet? Thanks to SANS, you can recapture the individuality of your wardrobe by adding personality to your apparel.

The New York-based label is now releasing variations of their popular Square Shirt as part of an avant-garde online fashion experiment. Instead of simply ordering the shirts, customers can add their own touch by printing a pattern from the SANS website and sewing it together on their own. So, rather than ditching that worn-out tee from 9th grade, you can simply transform it into a recycled, but trendy garment. And, to celebrate this revival of personal flair, SANS features customer designs on their website.

Meanwhile, SANS' Hole Sock Collection is a feel-good trend that doesn't require any assembly. Through a partnership with Trees for the Future, a tree is planted each time you order a pair of socks from the cozy collection. Through individual and global consciousness alike, SANS proves that the quest for uniqueness isn't in what you wear, but the story behind it.
