Marni Opens in Istanbul

We've recently reported on the growing luxury sectors in Kuala Lumpur and Tokyo's Ginza district, and Istanbul is no stranger to the trend either. Italy's Marni just opened its first Istanbul location, following on the heels of brands like Louis Vuitton, Hugo Boss, Harvey Nichols and Ermengildo Zegna.

The new Marni boutique devotes two rooms to its ever-popular accessories, displaying them in irregularly-sized nooks that present each piece like a precious jewel. Another room houses the label's ready-to-wear collection, with each piece hooked along a sinuous stainless steel railing that loops through the room like a rollercoaster, while focused airstreams replace mannequins, puffing up display pieces hanging in the center of the space.
