The 8th annual Brazil Foundation gala benefit took place at The Metropolitan Museum of Modern Art last Thursday. Chaired by Nizan Guanaes, the media potentate and his wife Donata, this year’s efforts raised over $2.5m stateside to assist in a host of social programs in Brazil. Some of the fashion brigade had already decamped to Europe but there was plenty of bold faced names still in New York to represent Brazil. Least of all Gisele Bundchen served as one of the hosts with Calvin Klein designer Francisco Costa. Models Fernanda Motta and Jeisa Chimanazzo, Osklen’s Oskar Metsavaht, and party promoters Lorenzo Martone and Unik were all in attendance.
