Marc Jacobs’ newly opened São Paulo store is the first of its kind in Latin America. Developed in collaboration with NK Store’s Nathalie Klein, who has sold the line at her luxurious multi-brand outlet for eight years, this brick-and-mortar outpost brings a sought-after brand to Brazil’s fashion-conscious trendsetters.
Designed by Stephan Jaklitsch, the store follows the same formula as the location in Russia, which sells both Marc Jacobs and Marc by Marc Jacobs under the same roof, but maintains the two lines’ distinct aesthetics by separating them on different floors. The shop is located in Tiffany’s former outpost and has an internal entrance to NK Store, which sells labels such as Lanvin, Givenchy and Stella McCartney in addition to their own house line.
NK Store marketing director, Tiago Rego, confirms that both Marc Jacobs lines will be sold in São Paulo with no season delay. What’s more, the designer himself is coming in March to check out his store and give Brazilians a party that’s already earning buzz.
