Designing from her studio in the Hollywood Hills for the past decade, Los Angeles native Sonia Boyajian has been enchanting the world with her very own visual language, expressed through her one-of-a-kind jewelry and accessories. Upon graduating from Otis College of Art and Design as a fashion major, Sonia decided to widen her horizons and move to Belgium. It was in the fashion capitol of Antwerp that her love affair with jewelry began. An apprenticeship under jewelry designer Pascal Masselis led to a collaboration with fashion designer Bernhard Willhelm, creating jewelry for his runway show. By 2003, she officially launched her line overseas, which was immediately snapped up by the world’s most renowned fashion ‘institutions’ like Louis in Antwerp, Gago in Aix-en-Provence, HP France in Japan, Susan in San Francisco, Mameg in Los Angeles, Maryam Nassir Zadeh in New York and Ikram in Chicago. Her faithful clientele spans the globe and includes celebrities and luminaries like Scarlett Johansson and Michelle Obama.
