Claire Sulmers is the Paris and New York based editor-in-chief of The Fashion Bomb, a site she founded in 2006 to highlight the style and trends of women and celebrities of color. With thousands of daily visitors, The Fashion Bomb has been profiled in Harvard University’s Crimson Magazine, Howard University’s Hilltop Newspaper and was named an “Up and Coming” blog by Women’s Wear Daily as well as “Blog of the Moment” by Teen Vogue. The Fashion Bomb won Judges’ Vote for Best Fashion & Style Blog in the 2009 Black Weblog Awards and was named as one of Signature 9′s 99 Most Influential Style Blogs. A style expert, Sulmers has been featured in the Wall Street Journal and the New York Post, and is a regular contributor to AOL Black Voices, and to the websites of Italian and Paris Vogue.

Are you noticing any trends in technology when it comes to new media and e-commerce?
I’d say that magazine websites are becoming more like blogs, and blogs are becoming more like magazine websites. I think the two will meet in the middle one day.

Christian Louboutin pumps, YSL Tribute sandals, a Balenciaga Le Dix bag in a fun color, K Jacques flat sandals and anything by Tara Jarmon.
