Remington Platt has been featured in top publications like Vogue, Town & Country and Vanity Fair and was most recently featured in the fall/winter ’11 Tod’s campaign. What’s hot right now?
Female entrepreneurs. I love that the startup community is filled with so many smart and ambitious women creating companies that solve problems. With the internet, women are able to have it all: start and run a company, be a mother and keep a social life. It is both inspiring and motivating young women.
What do you think the most coveted fashion item will be for the fall?
Ferragamo’s black-and-white houndstooth wrap dress.
What are you favorite trends from the shows in New York?
I love how the shows are embracing the image of an elegant woman. The silhouettes are cleaner and the focus is on luxe textiles.
