PR rep for Colette
What's hot right now:
In Paris, it's the girls—not the summer weather—that are hot! Their dresses are almost transparent, which leaves no doubt as to which kind of lingerie they are wearing. The skirts seem to be more like belts and the tops don't cover anything anymore. I can only imagine that they read too many French tabloids with pictures of pseudo-starlets from L.A. who are almost naked, and so they have a bad source of inspiration for their look. But what can I do except deal with it? It's starting to be a bit insane and a bit too much. When I am with my friends, we sometimes talk about this situation and how we cannot stand it anymore—even if we like girls! We live in Paris, you know—there is no sea, no beach (except Paris-Plage, but it sucks), so there is no reason to be half-naked.

Euh

Are you sure you like girls ? Its always pleasant to see girls in sexy outfits. Dont complain too much Dude, the summer in Paris is really short, and that's nothing compare to St Trop or even Miami !! So I would say Enjoy, in one month its over and it will back to the trench coat ;)

Right...

Taking into account that Colette is one of the most advanced store in the world as far as the shopping experience and the identification of the trends, I am shocked to see that simplistic a comment coming from their PR. Unless the explanation is in his title?
