VIDEO: EDUN & VBS Document Endangered Gorillas in Africa

EDUN, the sustainable and socially conscious fashion label founded by U2′s Bono and his wife Ali Hewson, teamed up with to bring attention to Africa’s critically endangered mountain gorillas. Most of these primates live in the Bwindi National Forest — which is referred to as The Impenetrable Forest — but with the continent’s expanding population, mining, and heartless poachers, as well the geo-political turmoil in the region (the park is surrounded by Rwanda, Uganda, and the Republic of Congo), it’s not so impenetrable anymore. The vulnerable animals live in a small oasis surrounded by a war-torn region that is slowly destroying their habitat. See the broadcast here, and to support EDUN, check out
